THE ALL ROUNDERS

There's no realistic formula for
equating runs to wickets (which avoids provoking merit arguments !),
although a measure sometimes used in first class cricket is the figure
arrived at (the higher the better) by subtracting an individual's bowling
average from his batting average. Overall Club and team statistics are
however shown on the basis of a minimum of
1000 runs and 100 wickets to make the list, and are shown in two
parts, the first in order of runs scored, the other in order of wickets
taken. Additionally shown are seasonal records and individual examples of
50 runs and 5 wickets in one match. Those still playing shown in
blue
